Wagon Mound & beyond!

Dizzy Jake and I made a trip north to Colorado with a stop in Wagon Mound.

The old maid drag though Wagon Mound. I stood in the middle of the street taking pictures and no cars were required me to move out of it.

The Santa Clara is owned by some billionaire. He won’t sell the place, or maintain it, or do anything to preserve it. Some rich people are just plain weird.

Wigwam Pool is another place that the owner won’t preserve. After receiving a grant to do so, the money just disappeared and the building from the facade back is a wreck. Sad.

The next several pictures are of a connected row of businesses, starting with the old post office.

While this was a barber shop at one time, the window sign was placed there for a movie that’s supposed to be released in the fall of 2018.

The old department store with painted signs from the movie.

The interior of the department store. Not sure how the movie company covered up this mess.

Two and a half years and I’ve already got 60,000 miles plus.

Oops, wasn’t ready yet.

Jake & I sneaking across the Colorado border. No, we weren’t buying legal weed there, it was about the ride, not the weed.
